my opinion
By Narodela | January 7, 2008
Personally, i think current Malaysian lifestyle, politics, culture, laws won’t be able to produce a greater nation in future. why ?
For example, when we talk about the massive traffic jams in the city, we only thought about adding highways, widening the road, ask people to car-pool and use public transport. It’s been decades.. is the problem solved ? No ! The problem is worsening…If only they ask, why do people drive though they know they’ll hit traffic jams… they’ll get the answer. One of the million answers is, I pay almost half of my salary to pay the car loan monthly.. and I have to bear it for 7 years. It’s such a huge portion of my salary. Why should I add another portion for “public transport” ? Let me suffer, let me melt in the traffic, at least I am utilising the “investment”. When the authority studies this, they’ll know if they can reduce the car tax, they can lower down the loan, thus lower down the monthly installments. By which the people would have “extra” money for public transport.
That’s about the traffic jam.. how about self development ? There are zillions of courses offered, but who has the time, money for that ? Example, a fresh grad. Right after graduation they won’t been keen to pursue studies yet. They are looking for space to gain experience. Experience that get them trapped in whole mess. With the low pay, they have to pay house rental, handphone bills, transportation cost, give portion to parents, and of course for meals.. End of the day, they don’t even have RM500 to save. So, how to pay the hijacking expensive training fees? If only the training center lower down the fees, I am sure additional 50% people would be queuing to register. Another 50%? Uh, they’ll queue if we change the working hours. I am sure most people experience this; out of house before the sun rise and be home after moonrise. As if our life solely for work and work and work. I remember reading about a country where the government gave free education for ALL. After few years, the country evolved and become one of the strong countries, both in technology and economy.
Politically, I think we should gazette a new law where there should be rotation of people ruling the country. A person cannot be holding the same position or any position that on par with current position for more than 7 consecutive years. Why 7 ? First 2 years is for them to learn & to plan. Next 3 years is for execution of the plan. And the last 2 years is to ensure everything intact. This is to churn new ideas and thus eliminating misuse of authority @ power.
One more thing.. People say that it is impossible to get a double-storey house in the city. End-up they’ll cramp in an apartment, which is uncomfortable to the kids @ they’ll move to a double-storey house located out of the city, which makes them pay tolls. Why there’s no developer think of building an apartment where they combine top and lower unit of an apartment to become 1unit? Just make a hole of the top unit, put a staircase.. That’s it.. People can have double-storey apartment…!

mat jenin dan sabda rasulullah saw
By Narodela | November 27, 2007
Telah bersabda Rasulullah saw:
|

There are times where I feel tired of being me. I am tired to please everybody, to ease others, to ensure others get what they want, and I am tired to listen the mumbles. Am easily frustrated when ignored. Am easily get mad when listening to long list of ppl’s request.. I want this, I want you to do this, all is I want, I want… These are times where I call as negative times… I believe ekor syaitan akan melompat2 di saat ini…
At these times, I would rather like to mute.
